At St John’s CE Academy, we believe careers education helps young people discover their strengths, raise aspirations and understand the opportunities available to them in the future. Across all phases of the school, pupils benefit from experiences that broaden horizons, build confidence and connect learning to the wider world.

Our formal careers guidance programme begins in the secondary phase from Year 7 and builds progressively through to Year 11. We provide high-quality, impartial guidance that promotes the full range of academic, technical and vocational pathways.

All pupils, including those with SEND, have access to careers education, guidance and opportunities, with additional support where needed.
