St John’s CE Academy opened its doors in September 2023, launching its primary phase as the first step in an ambitious all-through school vision for children aged 2–16. Located at the heart of the Wellington Gate community in Grove, Wantage, St John’s is growing year on year to provide a complete educational journey from Nursery through to Year 11 by 2029.
As a proud member of the Cambrian Learning Trust, alongside 14 primary schools and four secondary schools, we are part of a wider family of schools committed to providing exceptional education and opportunities for every child. This partnership brings collaboration, shared expertise and strong support, while allowing St John’s to develop its own unique identity and serve its local community with pride.
Rooted in our Christian values of Courage, Kindness and Respect, St John’s is a place where children are known, valued and inspired from their earliest years through to age sixteen. We combine high expectations with genuine care, academic ambition with strong character, and a deep sense of belonging for every child and family.
