Open Mornings If your child is moving up to secondary school in September 2026 and you would like to see the School during the day, we warmly invite you to visit us during one of our Open Mornings. The tours take approximately one hour. Please let us know if you are intending to join us, and for which Open Morning slot using this short registration link:

Members of our team, including the Head of School and SENDCo, will visit Year 6 students in their primary schools. These visits help us get to know each child, share key information, answer questions, and provide early support where needed. |

4:00pm – 5:00pm: Welcome Evening for Year 7 students and families 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Community Social Event |

8:15am – 3:00pm: A full-day experience at St John’s, where students will attend sample lessons, receive key information, and build connections with peers and the new staff team. |

September 2026 |
During the first weeks of term, students will follow a structured induction programme designed to help them settle quickly, build friendships, understand routines and feel confident in their new environment. |
| December 2026 |
Families will be invited to an early parents evening with their child’s tutor. This provides an opportunity to review transition progress, celebrate successes and discuss next steps together. |
| On-going | From September 2026 onwards, we offer a series of parent workshops covering key aspects of school life at St John’s and how families can best support their child’s success. |
