Who we are

Friends of St John's are a group of parents, grandparents and staff who voluntarily help organise and run fundraising events throughout the school year. Every family with a child attending the school will automatically be classed as a Friend of St John's and be able to attend the PTA meetings. Some people volunteer for a more formal role on our Committee, and some people prefer a less formal role.

What we do

We plan fundraising events to help raise money for the school, as well as providing fun events for the children and families to attend throughout the year.

The money we raise will go back into the school to help enrich the children's learning. It will also be used to provide your child with extra things to help make your child's time at St John's extra special.

How can you help?

We are always delighted to have volunteers and there are many ways you can help. This includes;

• Coming to one of our meetings
• Attending events as a family
• Sourcing raffle donations
• Donating items for any of the events being run
• Baking cakes for one of our cake sales
• Helping on one of the stalls at an event
• Helping with decorations & setting up/clearing up events

Plus if you have any other exciting fun ideas about how to fundraise, we would love to hear from you.
