The School Day
Reception- Year 6
School opens at 8.40. When the children come into school, they will have time to put their things away before starting their morning learning activity. This helps to start the day in a calm, purposeful way and to help consolidate purposeful learning.
Morning lessons begin at 9.00 and finish for outdoor breaktime and a snack at 10.30. Reception has a rolling snack during the course of their morning play. This allows children to decide when they are hungry and thirsty. An adult is available to support and guide when needed.
